Welcome to Rose’s sunshine haven: A reading room retreat!

Get ready to immerse yourself in a space designed to evoke joy and serenity, perfect for the client to indulge in their favourite pastime – reading. Inspired by Rose’s love for pink and yellow, I’ve curated a colour palette that radiates warmth and happiness throughout the room.

At the heart of the design is a stunning Morris & Co wallpaper, adorned with parakeets, roses, and tulips against a mirrored trellis background. This whimsical wallpaper sets the stage for an English country style infused with modern simplicity.

Say goodbye to dark and dreary with sheer pink curtains that flood the room with light, creating an inviting atmosphere that banishes any hint of melancholy. We’ve replaced the old carpet with a light beige nylon twist, paired with a patterned rug that complements the wallpaper beautifully.

Indulge in comfort with an oversized fabric armchair, complete with rolled arms and plush cushions. Surround yourself with a variety of fabrics, including cotton, wool, and linen, adorned with charming details like tassels and piping.

To top it off, elevate your reading experience with a revamped lamp featuring a new drum shade. And I’ve added a matching side table for a cozy spot for Rose to enjoy a cup of tea while lost in her favourite book.

With every detail meticulously crafted to create a sunny, happy space, Rose’s reading room is sure to become her favourite retreat for relaxation and literary indulgence.
