Welcome to Peter’s tranquil retreat: Where comfort meets chic!

This project involved the transformation of Peter’s spare bedroom into a haven of relaxation and style. Inspired by Peter’s desire for a fresh and modern space with neutral tones, I’ve curated a palette of soft, earthy neutrals that evoke warmth and tranquility.

At the heart of the design is the Sage Cole & Son Marquee Stripe Wallpaper, a striking feature that instantly elevates the room’s aesthetic. Paired with luxurious wool carpeting and blackout curtains in a complementary beige tone, this space is primed for restful nights and rejuvenating mornings.

The focal point of the room is the upcycled upholstered bedhead in deep copper velvet, adding a touch of opulence amidst layers of cotton, wool, boucle, and linen textures in the bedding. Statement sage fluted timber side tables exude sophistication, while soft oak accents in the pendant lighting and mirror enhance the room’s sense of space and luminosity.

With every detail carefully curated to marry comfort and chic design, Peter’s bedroom is poised to become his favourite room in the house – a sanctuary of serenity and style.
