I hadn’t done any chalk work since moving to Chippendale, so I jumped at the chance to create a chalkboard sign for my friend Holly’s wedding last October.

After making a sketch, I ended up using chalk markers for the final design, because of it’s intricacies and the small size of some of the letters. Overall, I thought it came up amazing, and Holly and her beloved, Dave, were pretty happy too. I even got a mention in the Thank You speech! Hopefully I can use my skills in chalk again soon.
